Undoubtedly, hiking up the hill in winter can be difficult due to the harsh weather.

But a funicular departing from Kolonaki metro station reaches the top from where you can see the whole of Athens dressed in white and sparkling lights, as well as amazing sunset views.

Witness the Changing of the Guards
