Corfu and Mykonos/Santorini are not close to each other, so it could be kind of difficult to try and scuba dive in a different place each day.

Hi thank you for your blogs it has given us lots of options to think about :) My family (incl 2 daughters - 4yrs and 10mths) are travelling to northern greece in (mid)May to June for 3 weeks. We'll be based in Serres (where my husbands from) for 9 days, then we have 10 nights to explore and end in thessaloniki for 3 nights. Of the 10 nights we want to do Thasos for 5 nights but the options of what location to choose are endless and i dont know what the best decision/option would be for our family. my husband and i love exploring, relaxing etc and doing all the european stuff but we've never done it with children
Any kid friendly day trip suggestion from Serres?
Can you suggest your favourite location in Thassos for our young family? my daughter is very energetic but will 100% be on my husbands shoulders once we tell her to walk :). any any other things to do to occupy her?
Also can you suggest somewhere between thasos and thessaloniki for the remaining 5 nights. i was thinking halkidiki but not sure which leg. my constant thought its trying to keep my daughter happy and i dont know what the best options will be considering we'll be there in may/june when the water isnt warm enough to swim. any advise would be greatly appreciated.

We are looking to visit Thassos for the first time and need to know the best place to base ourselves
We are in our 60s. and prefer low key resorts

Santorini is very popular, and even if you might not find some attractions open, most of them will be operating at least with reduced schedules. Worry not and enjoy this fantastic island!

Parking is easy in general, I rented a car in Naxos as driving in the mountains was very pleasant and the roads are in very good conditions, however public transport is efficient and affordable.
